A leap into the unknown Jamaica

I came from a Guyanese mother and Jamaican father. Both of them haven’t been to their home country since the 80s. One of my aunts told me years ago how my father’s mother left us a house in Jamaica that almost resembles a palace. She’s shown me pictures of the sun shining on that large house on the hill and the fish that swim in it’s man-made pond. I’ve never visited this house and neither have any of my siblings. Having a relative working for an airline I’ve made a point to travel as frequently as I can. I see pictures from my friends in Jamaica smiling brightly amongst waterfalls and rainforests. I’ve set my mind to stop living vicariously through their photos are experience the other half of my origin.
