Starting the journey without knowing where you are heading to turned out to be my best travel experience. All I knew was I have 4000 INR and i had 4 days. I just wanted some peace and break from my hassle life. I then decided to travel just start it anyway and took a local bus to Haridwar, Uttrakhand. I reached there early morning 5am, just then heard the conductors reaching out people who wish to travel to Gaurikund that is the base to start kedarnath trek. Without a second thought I took the bus and informed my wellwishers that m travelling to kedarnath, all were bit astonished. I reached gaurikund by evening.Explored the local market , went to few small temples nearby, talked to the locals regarding the trek and weather conditions up there in kedarnath. I started my trek early morning so that I can complete the 18km trek easily nd reach up there without any worry. I found another solo traveller and we became good friends . The trek trail was lovely, being monsoon trek it was both beautiful and dangerous. There were so many waterfalls and bridges on the way. It was filled with breath taking views, many dogs accompanied us with the trek. It became difficult when it started raining heavily, we had to take haults as there was no visibility. But it was worth it once we reached the top, as it was all dark by that time there was beautiful lightings near the kedarnath temple. We could hear the evening arti from a distance which was very relaxing for both our ears nd our soul. We stayed in done tents, had normal meal. Next day we attended the morning arti nd worshipped the temple and started trekking down, trekking down was difficult as our legs was already paining and it was very slippery due to monsoon. But we was amazed to see clouds so close to us. Didn't felt good going back from this wonder place, felt like staying there for more days in beautiful aroma of nature. It was a life time experience.
