Follow the sun

On my way to Acaba I had the feeling it would be the experience of a lifetime. The city is little and vibrant. Shop after shop selling their precious products, from delicious dates to handmade carpets. The owners are typically sitting or standing outside inviting you in to make the best possible deal of the day. I was thirsty looking for a bottle of water when I happened to look into a local Hookah bar attracted by the sound of this colourful parrot. The man at the door did not indulge and grabbed my arm to invite me in and introduced me to Mahmoud who got pleasantly placed on my arm and was now singing loud into my ear. In the meantime I was served with local herbal tea and offered sigarette or hookah. The owner named Said called his 2 little sons to sit in circle in front of me and started to talk to me with his little English completed of gestures. His eyes were full of emotions. I could say he was eager to let this stranger know how he managed to travel the world and experience incredible adventures only following the sun.
