Fragrance of France

I didn't expect to find France

Unfamiliar sceneries from both sides passing through the windows like flashing back to the past, unless it wasn’t, whilst I sat still, eyes closed, time stopped. Endlessly. The train of memories took me somewhere I used to know, but this one didn’t. After stepping out of the pool of the past, coldness aggressively hit my face, body, and soul, leaving me nowhere to escape. This tight thermal top, expensive fur coat and leather boots were just like all my exes. They didn’t keep me warm. Strolling on the cobblestoned alley from the darkness to the brightness of the night, there it was, Colmar in Christmas lights. Located between the border of France and Germany, the architecture gave a sense of both. A sense of indecisiveness. It’d surely take one back in romantic medieval time with the sprinkle of Renaissance and dog poop on top OF MY BOOTS. OMG. They said every city has its own smell. I guess this is an authentic fragrance of France.
