Believe in love? After a breakup, well, you won't die but it hurts and you'll have to work on you. My heart was wroken and my birthday number 22 was visasing , mom told me travel, maybe not far away, but discover life. Then I purchased my passage to go to Cusco for 9 day. My departure was a February 06. To start have you heard of my country? Does anyone else know South America? Does anyone know how wonderful and magnificent Machu Picchu is? here is goes. The City of Cusco is one of the most incredible cities in South America and one of the main destinations in the world. To visit the ancient capital of the Inca empire must be one of the best cultural experiences that can be had in life, recognized as the archaeological capital of the Americas, known since the time of the Incas as the “Navel of the World”; And as if predestined, Cusco is an integrating city, where experiences, people of all cultures, religions and nationalities come together and exchange experiences. You feel in love? I do, here in Cusco but not of a person, I fell in love with the city, the people, the vibes and the energy that surrounded it, it was enough to realize how wonderful life is, and how much i have to know and life. From the first day I arrived in Cusco I made French, German, American friends and many farmers; The first friend I made gave me a joint while we talked about poverty and how forgotten the town is despite being a very touristy place, its surroundings are still very forgotten places. The next day I had to do the APU AUSANGATE mountain trek. It is the fifth highest peak in Peru has 6 373 meters above sea level and is revered since ancient times as the deity that protects water and life, and it really does. Ausangate and the group of snowfall that accompany it, are creators of the beautiful high Andean lagoons that house dozens of species of flora and fauna, and provide permanent and quality water to the surrounding communities. That walk almost killed me but I'm still here and very proud because not everyone is able to climb the mountain that actually took us 15 minutes in a flat territory, however it took me 4 hours to climb, I took sweat and a few cold tears but I wanted to get to the top and I made it. Do you know who I ended up falling in love with? of me, as it always should have been. This is living, this is the life I want minimalist. Thanks to my foreign and national friends who with open arms made my birthday and those 9 days the best. the borders are erased, the languages become one when we are all gathered at the table, and well this is not a story and much less Chinese, it is my story, it is what I lived and what I needed to not die of anxiety and depression. So, did we understand the answer? Or maybe you still don't know the question ... it's simple, do you want to live? Just open your eyes and pay attention to your surroundings. Life is everywhere and happiness is in every corner. I hope to travel much more and I want to fall in love with you, with me and with us, with this beautiful life. I am Maria Isabel de Lima - Peru, law student, assistant in a law firm and every time I'm bored of life I visit and ask myself the same question, maybe I need a little trip? and you know what I do ... I pack my bags, whether near or far I go, to live.
