It was an unexpected journey from Kerala to Himachal Pradesh to visit Kulu Manali. I was excited and tensed at the same time I always wanted to explore the world but newer got a chance to travel anywhere. This was my first outer state trip from the south of India to the North. It is easy to take a flight to Delhi and take a bus to Manali but I wanted to enjoy every moment of my trip so I select train as my medium of travel and booked a sleeper class ticket which very cheap and where most of the locals travel a train journey which Starts from the capital city of kerala to the capital of India which covers most of all the States in India. It was an unforgettable train travel I can feel the changes when train reaches different states the whole vibe will change when train cross different states the languages changes among the people sitting next to me tamil , kannada, gujarati , hindi language changed along with the States the whole atmosphere inside train changed and I really enjoyed it. After two days of train journey I reached new delhi the capital of India and from there I took a bus to Manali it was life changing experience from where I'm coming there isn't any huge mountains or cold temperature I lived closer to sea so temperature is mostly warmer but North was entirely different it is as so cold and I can't grab the handle bars on the bus after hours of bus journey I reached Himachal. Himachal was entirely different and the road to Manali was one of a kind small roads where barely two cars can go side by side . Huge mountains connected with iron bridges and huge rivers flowing on the side . Roads are almost distroyed from the flood happened a year back and twisty bumby road almost make me puke . But the views are priceless small random houses on the sides of hills some houses has cables and pulleys to connect with public. The more I came closer to the destination views became more beautiful and exiting . Roads will always blocked by giant rocks fall from the mountain tops and JCB's are placed for emergency road clearance . A man sat near to me said that snow fall into the mountains at night and when Sun comes up it changes into water and get into the gaps of soil and cause land slide and the one other thing which I felt amazed was people cares about others random people will help others to clear snow from their vehicles etc. After a long journey I reached Manali a small town with few hundred people and lots of tourists . Tibetan Prayer flags are all-over the place yaks are standing on the road side it was almost 5'o'clocke at evening when I reached Manali town wasn't crowded because of the bad weather and it was also off season for tourists so it was quite and calm. I decided to walk to my hotel and while walking through the snow fall I thought about how I reached here and from where I reached here from the south to the top of India unknown place and language first time leaving my state and now here I'm walking through the snowy streets of manali . It was the first time I'm seeing snow fall but I was more happy to be there and be at that moment . I felt some kind of spiritual connection to the place and it feels so calm at that moment I realised how much I love traveling and experiencing new things. I spent almost 6days travel for 2days stay in Manali and I never regret my decision. The whole journey helps me to find new perspective on life.
