We wanted to get lost in mountains and mist. yes only two girls planned for a trekking trip after getting tired of group trip plan dropouts.. Two idiots , we dont have much travel experience. One rescue hand came from friend to accompany us(Saviour). We felt safe and spent countless hours in shopping , booking and planning itinerary for the trip. All set for the trip , relax and dream about the trip. Aren't you surprised that we dont have any issues so far..wait this trip is no exception. First issue is to develop courage more than immunity ,are you confused ... let me explain , we decided to go for trekking in kerala but flash news came just before a week of our trip that 3 people are affected by corona virus in kerala discussed about postponing the trip even dropping as our lives is more precious than the advance booking amount and my friend is not even afraid of corona..such a go getter😁 she convinced us by saying her relatives are in kerala and the condition is normal and safe. But for safety we stocked up sanitizers and mask. Only 36 hours pending to start for the trip. He he I am a restless person when it comes for trip or anything new .I cant even sleep and count remaining hours for the trip. Second issue is saviour become a plan spoiler. He dropped out at last minute. In life what we thought best might turn into worst .It hurts more. But the lesson makes us more strong . And we two adamant girls ..decided to go alone as we planned initially. Yes I am not 100% fearless but people around me added 200% fear. Again life lesson dont just go by people words .do what you like and face the result .This last line is from my special one😍 Trip started: We reached kerala , after fresh up planned to go for sight seeing. We are just opposite to punctual 🤣 for example we will go to movie only after minimum 10 minutes from starting time . We somehow managed to cover few sight seeing places ,clicked n number of pictures to relive the moments we had in munnar. Munnar is picture perfect with tea plants, mountains , chill chill climate and elephants. Those lush green mountains looks like it is dolled up with beautiful green saree.Treat for eyes and good for heart. We gave food to elephants .they are so intelligent it wipes the pineapple with their skin and eat as it fell down while feeding it. We relived those childhood moments by spending time with elephants. And time crunch we didnt eat proper lunch and went to start our trek . I thought just 3.5km walk. I can cover easily in 30minutes..but Its uphill 😲🙃 started to trek within 10minutes energy drained out as am not fit even thought to drop out . I dont want to give up something inside pushed me to go forward and kept telling me that I can do this. My friend and local guide helped me to finish the trek .He is such a sweet person who took care of us like a brother. I took so many breaks and reached the camp after 1hr20mins . Feel I got after finishing the trek is unexplainable.. I was jumping in joy, whereas few mins before I cant even walk . View from top is worth the climb .Another life lesson never give up. Spent whole night under sky. Heard one love story in the campfire from couple and surprised to see 6 more girls came for the trek like us. We are not the only weirdo's. Woke up to beautiful mountains and greenery .Another decision to make whether to go for sunrise trek. It's the best part of trip. How can i miss a chance to be above the clouds and reached the top.Clouds below my feet surrounded by mountains it's the best moment of my life. Yes I fell down 2times in the trek not only learnt to continue but also learnt to let go of fear and chase after my dreams. If its scares you it might be the good thing to try .Embrace the journey!!!! Our little adventure came to end.. awaiting for more adventures ..
