Bundelkhand ruled by “Bundela” It mainly covers the central India which includes some of the the parts of two states (Madhya Pradesh) & (Uttar Pradesh). The regional language spoken by the people is Bundeli . Before independence this particular region ruled by the king Bundela . There were princely states Panna , bijawar, Tikamgarh, chhatarpur, Orchha, Charkhari, Garrauli , Ajaigarh, .Datiya , These states ruled by Bundela Dynasty. The main places to visit in Bundelkhand 1.Panna Mahraja His Highness “Chhatarsal” Was a great warrior he received his kingdom from his father Mahraj hraday Singh ji Dev in 1739. Maharaja chhatrasal establishes panna as the main kingdom. And he fights several times with the moughals and was able to protect their kingdom. Panna is famous for Temples palaces Pran Nath ji temple & Jugal Kishore baldau ji temple is also famous for is great architecture . Panna is also famous for its wild life sanctuary. Here you can see various wild species Tiger Deer’s elephants and some rare species. Panna is also known for Diamonds. Here you can the found the largest diamond mine in India . Some of the world best diamonds actually taken from these mines . 2 . Chhatarpur Chhatarpur the name actually derived from the great warrior Chhatrasal. One of the main growing city in Bundelkhand. You can visit Khajuraho just 20 kms away from this city . Khajuraho temples are the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Famous for temples architecture and erotic sculptures. The temples made by chandel dynasty . The place is also known as Land of Kamasutra. You can also visit Dhubela Museum just 15 kms from chhatarpur. Different monument Mahraja chhatrasal and his wife monument represents great bundeli art . Whether domes or it is big entrance gate . Mahoba gate . The art is very spectacular in every monument. There are about 4 to 5 monuments . Which actually gives the idea of the royalty of Bundelkhand and Bundela . You can also visit jata Shankar just 25 kms away from the city . A religious Hindu god Shiva temple . Where you feel spiritual and very natural place a small waterfall all and greenery will remove all your tiredness. Orchha You can big palaces and a spiritual and Royal kingdom of King Bundela . The places have big palaces and fort near the Bank of river Betwa . The language spoken in all these places is very much similar to Hindi but yet very different is Bundelkhandi. The scenery view are most likely attractions to the visitors. The land also have spiritual believe that their king lord Rama is still their to protect them . A deep spiritual believe one can see . The main attraction point are : Ram Raja temple , bank of betwa river , Jahangir palace and fort and few pilgrims. Bundela ruled by Bundelkhand also very few places that are not under unseco and also far left by tourism attractions. But indiscover few places that are still hidden As 1 . Datiya known as necklace of Bundelkhand another state ruled by king Bundela. Very big fort and a very popular lake I visit and very big old monuments as Bhander gate . And some more like Badauni a small town near to Datiya having old monuments fort which have a very big history in India. Still untouched by the people. 2. Kharagpur The big fort in Tikamgarh district a very beautiful live palace . The Royal bundela family still lives there with their family. The responsibility given by HH Tikamgarh state king to their son as a Jageer a very big part of land to rule 250 years ago. The Royal Family still maintaining their culture as it as Carrie forwarded by their ancestors. Palera . Few distance from Kharagpur. Famous for a big lake and on the bank of very big lake there is a fort 300 year old is known as Tal ki Haveli. Kali Dalan , Siddhan, Badi mata , Sheetal mata and Haritala mandir are few points that you can see and gives you scenery beauty.
