When visiting Puerto Vallarta Mexico I was blessed to experience the most incredible find. First off, while staying at our hotel we ran into old friends that we had no idea they were in Mexico as well (what are the chances). We got to talking and they told us about this hidden surf village just an hour or so away. So naturally being the adventure that I am practically made them take me there. We spent the whole day there but honestly I would have spent a month on that little beach. That is where I tried surfing for the first time (in the ocean, usually only wake surf), and it was the most amazing experience! I found a new love for surfing that I wasn’t expecting! The town had such a laid back vibe that anyone would enjoy, we sipped margaritas on the beach and ate nachos under straw huts, later we strolled the town markets and streets and really embraced the small town Mexican culture. So blessed to have had this experience, can’t wait to visit that town again some day! Ps. The surf village name is Soyalita
