Pangandaran beach is one of the most visited beaches for tourism in West Java. It has an interesting point which is an amazing view of tropical sunrise and sunset. The white sand is perfect for photo hunting with friends or loved ones. The beach is still clean though it is often visited and crowded in specific days like New Year's Eve. In Eid days in 2018, my brother invited me to join his trips with his colleagues along with their family to visit Pangandaran Beach. I have always wanted to go to the beach, and I'm excited! I packed my bag and prepare some snacks to distract myself from a long trip to Pangandaran. We left home at 8 in the evening and waiting for his colleagues in the gas station in Cicalengka, one by one his colleagues came and we left Bandung (Where I lived) at 11 in the evening. In the normal speed with no traffic jamming, it took us more than 8 (eight) hours. We arrived at Pangandaran City around 8 in the morning. Through the mountains, we finally could see the streams that led to the sea. So beautiful and peaceful. We didn't go straight to the Pangandaran beach, my brother took us to Batu Karas first once we arrived instead. Our exhausted, sleepless body awake once we heard the waves hitting the shore. Beaaaaachhh!!!! My brother decided to take us to Batu Karas which is one of the icons for the Pangandaran Regency. This beach so-called surfing paradise in Pangandaran. There are several surfing board rentals you can borrow whether to learn or surf. I can say the waves are not too big so you can also swim here. It is pretty crowded because of the long vacation days for everyone. We played on the beach, my brother joined his colleagues playing water sports. After we all done, we showered and ate what we ordered and finally go to the hotel in Pangandaran beach at 11 in the morning. I have spent the entire day walking around the beach, enjoying the view, meet a lot of tourists and made friends. It was fun, we had dinner at the seafood in the traditional market and we ride a bike to go there. Day and night have no different, crowded. The next day, we check out and we leave to visit Indonesia's Grand Canyon, but what we have here is called Green Canyon because you can the river with green water hidden among the towering cliffs. The miniature of grand canyon with amazing scenery.
