I have Nefertiti's eye tattooed on the left hand side of my outter thigh; this is when the quest for knowledge into the unknown began. Here I am excited for the opportunity to finally be on the same grounds my ancestors were. Often, it has felt like I lived in Egypt in past lives. I'm obsessed with movies like The Mummy, the Scorpion King or the good ol classic Romance in the Stone, I couldn't stand hair on my skin, so by the age of nine I was secretly shaving (later on I learned Egyptians had the same inclination toward being hairless and worshipped cats, being that I raised three felines and would probably still have them, the fascination with Egypt has been uncanny. While on this wonderful adventure. I plan on taking in as much of the Egyptian culture that I've longed mine for many years now. I'll sing and dance with the natives all while learning the food, clothing, and language. This journey will bring me closer to a culture that has lived with me via conciousness, and the opportunity to learn more of what som3 would say, or call it the unknown. As a Tarot reader, I've like to speak and learn from the native gypsies, and share stories of the present time in exchange of their past. These stories I will gather and make into a story book, for the entire world to read. The trip will be full of adventure, pictures, miracles and wisdom. I'm longing to hear everything about Morocco, Nigeria, and other cultures. The Nile river will be amongst the many landmarks I'd visit, all while listening to the stories that were recited from the books and movies I've had the pleasure of reading -- I'll take in the beauty, the bad and the ugly, for we all have contrasts, and all contrast matters. I promise to share with the world what I will learn from this beautiful trip and keep it all authentic.
