Since childhood, I have been crazy about faraway exotic countries that charm with their nature and people. That's why I decided to leap into the unknown and travel to Mauritius. Every day on this fabulous island was filled with bright moments. I didn't have even a minute to feel bored. The second day on the island was devoted to climbing Le Morne Brabant Mountain. I understood that it would not be easy to climb and it would require a lot of efforts. Anyway I didn't change my mind and started climbing. I climbed the mountain two hours. I began to climb at 7 a.m. to reach the top until the heat came. It was easy for me to finish the first part of the climbing. I wasn’t even tired. But the second part gave me a rough time. I had to climb up actively working with arms and legs. It was difficult and scary for me. Several times I looked down and my hands trembled a little. But I was able to gather strength and reach the top. I was full of happiness staying on the top. The view from above was bewitching. And what a beautiful view of the endless ocean! The optical illusion of the underwater waterfall was spectacular! I was looking around for five minutes with my eyes sparkling. After that, I took out 2 sandwiches and sliced fruits from my backpack and made myself the best breakfast enjoying my life. Having climbed down, I looked at this magnificent mountain and was proud of myself. I did it! Active leisure is cool. It charges me with energy and brings brightness to my life. What else did I explore on Mauritius? I spent a day in the Casela Park. This is a fabulous place where you can feed wild animals, explore rides and taste local food in the restaurant with wonderful views. At first I went to the lion cubs. My delight knew no bounds. Petting a little lion cub, I immediately remembered my favorite cartoon The Lion King. So my childhood dream came true. It was unforgettable. Then I went on a safari, where I saw ostriches, zebras and deer. Ostriches and zebras came close to the bus, so that they could be photographed in all glory. After the safari, I went to feed the giraffes. The giraffe slobbered my hands. It was funny. Having fed animals, I wanted to explore extreme activities and went to zipline. Most of all I was afraid at the moment when I was fastened. I even had an idea to refuse. During the flight, I experienced a delight. Nature was gorgeous. I looked around and could not believe that I was there and I was flying. My adventure in the Casela Park ended with a delicious dinner. After that being tired and happy I went to my apartments. I am extremely glad that I have discovered Mauritius. The island inspired me with its beautiful nature, kind and open people. I am extremely glad that I can explore this world in which there are so many beautiful places. Traveling is my motivation to move forward. Vivid memories of past travels and grandiose plans for future ones charge me with strength and energy, help me to cope with my daily routine. Someone spends money on expensive clothes, someone likes expensive cars, but for my happiness I need only travel. There are still so many unexplored corners in the world that I will certainly reach!
