" I did not expect to Find myself there " Jan of 2019 was the beginning of my personal travel to the neighboring country of Turkey, I kicked this off by Landing in the city of Istanbul where the story began. since I am an Iraqi national and visiting Turkey would for sure open my eyes on a whole different culture starting from the language to the traditions to the thinking and the people, stepping out of the airport my eyes could not blink for I just at that moment fell in love with the city, which resulted in visiting that city 5 times in that specific year of 2019!". Sleeping and opening my eyes in the next morning the explore the city, starting from the breakfast the inner me was astonished of why am I falling so fast in love with everything in the city? the inner me answered itself by itself gradually in that day and the following days as I started to explore the area, people, buildings and details after details. it was that feeling of I felt in the third morning I woke up there that " oh I am not out of my country " I just literally felt I am not in a hotel and walking there in the streets I am only walking in my streets back in my country ( despite the fact I do not speak any Turkish except for basic words ) whenever and wherever I was alone and no Turkish language is being heard that feeling eco was getting bigger inside of me. I was thrilled every time I be in a new place, mosque, park, ancient shops and bridges to look at their very tiny details and tell myself maybe these tiny details are gathering up inside of me to shape that big love to the city inside of me. What has confirmed to me that the feeling of " I belong to there " inside of me is just honest and deeply settled there the amount of sadness I felt on the last day as I am in the bus heading back to the airport to fly back home. Not only that, but also, the fact of having myself working hard back home and each couple months take the spendings and the accumulated work leave days pack the luggage and fly to nowhere else but the city of Istanbul assured to me how deep I felt in love with that city. A lot of details, descriptions and videos were taken by me to the important beautiful landmarks of the city as I am that kind of curious to explore travelers.
