At the outset, I went to Switzerland, Brussels, Germany and Paris in the recent past. This international trip had been my 2nd till date. The European countryside is beautiful and mesmerizing. So, en route Charleroi from Belgium, there were grasslands, meadows, flowing river Sambre and the sunset. Somewhere, it struck into my mind that ‘this all’ begins and ends with us. The beauty, the gloomy, the happiness, the zeal, the rush, the hush, everything all begins and ends with us. Because I was tensed and anxious during those days, it also hit me on my way to Switzerland from Germany, amidst the greens and the countryside view, that it is ‘me’ who is my problem. It is ‘me’ who is giving so much of trouble to myself and it is ‘me’ who needs to calm down. After spending nearly 10 days in Europe, it may be mentioned that Paris made me fall in love with the nightlife of the city. The glittering lights on Eiffel Tower at night and ‘the view’ of Paris from Sacre Coeur at night symbolised the calling for love in my life. Then as I headed to Brussels, the scenic beauty changed from concretes and symmetry of Paris, to fresh grasslands and maple trees. I was awestruck throughout the journey. From Brussels to Charleroi to Germany, the green meadows changed from yellow to brown to green. The cows, the warmth of sun, the horses, the fresh air, the crystal clear blue skies, made me live each and every recitals of William Wordsworth. The blackberries, the raspberries, the University of Heidelberg street, pleasantly surprised me. The Hirschberg town was all green, with the cute little cottage where I stayed. A cup of hot chocolate and continental breakfast, made me live my each day to the fullest. It is pertinent to note that all throughout the European journey, I felt as if divine is showcasing me its best of creations. Then as I was headed towards the black forest on my way to Switzerland, the silence of the nature grew deep and made me introspect towards my life’s purpose. The guy whom I liked, whatsapped me, appreciating the serene beauty of nature of black forest, which was least expected, because I never thought he would text me. The fresh air, inflated my lungs and a sense of exhilaration ran through me. I was growing more and more excited, with a new found zeal for life each day. Then as I entered Switzerland, the Rhine falls, welcomed to the land of paradise on earth. O my my! I bowed down to the heaven’s beauty. What more could I say! Rhine falls were the beginning, the town of Interlaken, the Jungfrau and Mt. Titlis, stole my heart and soul. The white beauties, made me see through me, the transparency of mine. The sunny sky and the white beauty of Jungfrau and the stormy winds of Mt. Titlis, healed me, calmed me, soothe my burning soul, and filled me with a sense of gratitude towards divine. For me Europe, was a leap into the unknown, that transformed me into a new me.
