Day I Bruges is mesmerizing - market square, swans' park, small sideways alongside the river, all those boats leaving various shaped curves on water (boat trip costs EUR 8, Gosh not so cheap for Georgian solo traveler- EUR 1 = GEL 3). And of course playlist "The best of Mozart". I love travelling! I had a crunchy breakfast in the morning and brought some water in a bottle with me. I have not been having any food for an hour, I will probably have a bite - a real Belgian waffle or soup. I crave for a chicken sandwich from Albert Heijn shop, which I am going to eat when I am back to my host's place in Berchem (Antwerp). Oh and this flow of tourists - so good to feel to be a part of them! I made a bunch of swans come closer to me - yes it's probably not allowed to feed them with Belgian waffles or frites. They claim Belgian frites taste different and they are right! It's high time to jump on train and visit Ghent. You can see beautiful cathedrals, works of architecture, amazingly designed houses and key sculptures in Ghent. Cathedrals (like palaces) represent the major part of sightseeing there. It's very smart experience to visit both cities on the same day! Ghent makes me feel to be myself in a fairy tail. The next day I am attending the coolest party during the pride week in Antwerp - A hard night! There will be presented free minded guys from Antwerp and all over the Belgium. I started morning with eating banana and reading "The Flaneur" by Edmund White. My host has a big sunny terrace which in summer could become a shelter to his surfers. He lives just few minutes walk from the railway station in Berchem-Antwerp. There is a monastery next to his building, where nuns ring bells every morning. The banana is being warmed up under the sun while I am reading different stories about bohemian life in Paris. Edmund exclusively describes all those saloon meet ups and sexual life in Paris in earlier years. My host promised to take me to visit Berchem center, where all classy buildings with nice design are erected. Dozens of tourists visit this place, among them are students from Japan. "Het paradijs" (the paradise) is the name of the place, where you can see the houses designed thematically - tulip, rose, sunflower etc. What I like in Belgium is that people are free, they respect each other and freedom. It's the same in the Netherlands as well. After party It was hard to get up. I was awoken by being caressed. Great feeling to make love on Sunday morning. Every morning actually... I went to visit central avenues of Antwerp. You should definitely visit railway station there - marbled piece of art. There is Antwerp Zoo next to it - no more euros left, just photographed some flamingos from outside - I was lucky! Tonight I will treat my host with delicious seafood - he has been kind to me so far! And don't forget Australian ice cream - just nearby the central train station. People are so free in the streets, I love how they look, how they walk, how they smile. Freedom is what brings me to Europe, that's why I come here!
