I didn't expect to find USA

Hi! I’m just a J’1. You don’t know what this is? It’s a type of visa people get for the USA if they are students and want to Work and Travel and then people start to call them that way. It started in 2018 when me and a friend of mine decided to go on this amazing adventure. All of my friends were asking where were we going and when we said “Oregon” they said that they have no idea what is that and that we made the biggest mistake travelling there instead of Ocean City or some other city like it. We didn’t care. When we got there we were amazed by their nature and how calm everything was. We worked a lot of hours and we didn’t have time to explore the full state. This! This was our biggest mistake. We didn’t invest time in going to the wonders of Oregon we decided to go to LA, Miami and etc. So months of working flew by and it was time to go home. When we started talking about our experience, people decided that they want to try. They want to go there with us next year. The place that was supposedly our mistake. We went there. And everyone loved it. Me and my friend that went the first year decided that we want to see so much more than the place we were living in. I cannot explain how beautiful places they have in this state. If we start with with all of the lakes, trough Smith Rock Park, to Crater lake, to all of the falls. The beaches I’ve heard that are really beautiful but I didn’t get the chance to go and see. We went rafting on the river. And there were so many places that I wanted to go and see in Oregon but there was just no time or transportation for us. When people think of the USA in their head pops up NYC, Texas, Miami or other big cities. Well guys I can tell you that the most hidden places and unpopular maybe are more worthy than the big ones. They hide so many adventures and sights and they can turn out to be the your favourite place. Oregon definitely was a place I thought was boring. But as they say- don’t judge a book by its cover. This state is a gem. And if you have the chance you should go and explore it. You might love it just as me and my friends did. If I had the chance to go back I would grab it with both hands. And that’s for now. Until we see again.
