Luxury. Relaxation. An Experience. Those are the three things that come to mind when I think of my spring excursion, but now I have to accept the fact that my vacation is over. However, I will not let go of the lavish experience I had. Gliding through glass sliding doors to view beautifully ornate lights hanging strategically from the ceiling, reflecting creams and golds. Smiles on welcoming faces, as the concierge greets the entering guests. Yes, I was in my element. I swiftly checked-in, and was informed that I would be staying on the eighth floor. What met me, as I opened the door to my room, was reminiscent of a HGTV apartment located in Manhattan, New York. The window encompassed a breath-taking view that was vast and full of detail. I could see far, in a panoramic fashion, the offerings of Huntsville, Alabama’s Bridgestreet Towne Centre. Beyond Bridgestreet, I could see neighboring hotels, new developments in progress, and even the activity on the streets, heading to the highways, and wherever the anonymous drivers were possibly destined. My excitement could not be put into words, but I did know I was Queen for the weekend. In the voices of my daughters, "you deserve it," and I agree. The kitchenette was very convenient, as it included utensils, such as cups, plates, and silverware. There was a study corner, and desk, giving you options of where you wanted to position yourself, depending on what you were working on, or even your mood. The bathroom had a motion sensor light, surrounding the mirror, that made the makeup applying process a dream. The glass shower was very sophisticated. As a self-proclaimed foodie, every morning I looked forward to breakfast. The Rise (the official name of the dining area) provided several options. You couldn't help, but have a wholesome and fulfilling meal. The fitness center was fully loaded with all the necessary equipment to ensure that you stayed on your health journey, while on vacation. After a full day of activities, retiring to the whirlpool was a sheer delight. The roar, swirl, and warmth of the whirlpool had the ability to rock you to sleep. In the early morning, when the sun appeared, the view was breathtaking. Shades of orange, blue, and white painted the sky, giving you a picturesque view as you start your morning. The outer garden was so peaceful and serene. The design was like a maze, accompanied by sitting areas, and strategic landscaping. I'm so glad I was able to have this moment, unwinding from the demands of motherhood, and everyday living. Until next time Element Huntsville...
