Incertidumbre

A leap into the unknown Canary Islands

The first time I land in the Canary Islands, more precisely in Tenerife, I really was mesmerized by the size of the cliffs, the mountains almost fading away in the sky colors at that noontime. I got paralyzed in my low-cost flight seat while staring at that impressive view, and so in a sort of speak, it was a deep dive into the unknown. Few seconds of my life that remained forever in my head as one of my favorites landings of all time! Pristine as the quiet sea matched the blue of the sky in that moment of a not quite yet dark night. The small lights on the horizon, turn my vision blurred, I was landing there for the first time, and I already knew I would come back another time. Incertidumbre, a perfect Spanish word to describe, a sense of uncertainty, but furthermore an out of this world escapism.
