There was a girl traveling to a country that she had never seen before, but deep inside she thought she knew and felt it in her heart and soul, she couldn't wait to discover that beautiful place. She was going to meet the man of her dreams that she hasn't seen for over ten years, she hardly remembered his face but she knew she always loved him and this experience was going to be the best of her life, meeting him in a country that both of them were eager to see and a great adventure to experience, should be the best time of their lives. She is only a simple beautiful girl from Mexico and he is a strong stunt man from United Sates filming a movie in Mumbai, such a random, strange and beautiful city, full of colors in Diwali celebration "The festival of lights", everywhere you turn they are lights on the sky, they are adoring all their Gods represented by animals and experiencing their culture without having an idea of what they are saying, but loving the music, the fireworks, the people, the happiness of their lives, enjoying the simple things that in Western Culture we don't really appreciate. India is a big beautiful country with millions of habitants that belong to many religions but united in one place to venerate their beliefs, as part of South Asia in a country full of traditions. and beautiful unique people at soul, you couldn't imagine the magic of that place until you saw it yourself. Decided to go out and experience the daytime on the streets, but it was so noisy that they couldn't get used to the sound of the honking of the cars everywhere without traffic rules or at least it did not seem like there was any, also they have these little cars likes motos everywhere as taxis or simple rides for people, they even sleep in them waiting for tourists or the regular habitants to ride in them, they are less expensive and fun to ride but somehow they seem dangerous, they are called "Rikshas" but they are the most fun, scary but fun, and wait until you go out at night and get a little tipsy and ride in one of them, you will never ever forget that experience. It is really an exotic and weird place, so different from America, their food was cooked with plenty of condiments that can get you sick if you are not used to them, they respect the cows on the streets, they are sacred, but on the other end they have chicken that are alive and ready to be for your dinner, also they don't seem to have a problem eating buffalo meat even in an American Chilli's Restaurant you can order a buffalo hamburger with no problem. You will thin you have to wear traditional clothes at all times but it wasn't like that, you will be surprised how the Indian girls wear normal clothes when they go out at night, but they wear the traditional Dhoti y Sari for especial events or celebrations like the famous Diwali Festival, but as fancy as it sounds they follow their proper religion and when you go as a tourist you have to respect their traditions, that includes being respectful not showing too much skin when you go out on the streets during the day and most importantly on the beach, you can't expose yourself too much, have to cover as much as you can with a scarf and long leggings for you not to bring that much attention. Most people in India are poor and a lot of them live on the streets, they will ask you for money in your own language even the little kids know a little English, but also there are the extreme rich and well known people. From 'Gandhi to the famous sport 'Cricket, the fun and danceable music, the food, the noise, the language, the many different religions, the black sky from contamination in the big cities like Mumbai, it is still one of the most beautiful and wonderful places you will have to see before you die. Thanks India!
