A leap into the unknown Nigeria

The story of the three biblical leapers is enough lesson for us. It prompts us to realize that life is full of uncertainty. The more you look, the less you see. Most times, what you see is a mirage of fear, doubts and discouragement. It takes the heart of a lion to play the role of a lion. Life is all about risk. And not taking risk is a risk itself. Then, we most learn to take the risk that will lead us to a comfort zone. The three leapers said to themselves, "How long do we continue to remain at the city gate? Now, the gate of the city is opened. If we remain here we die. If we leave here we die. Then, why can't we leap away into the unknown? If we die, we die." Sometimes, our background has a way of making us believe that nothing will ever work. It creates fear and make us look stupid in the eyes of others. We seem to become a never-do-well set of people because of where nature originate us. It mars our passion for good things. Our background deceives us from knowing that things only work for workers. That nothing will ever work until we work. Who says we cannot make it? What is that circumstance that pretends to prove that we cannot make it when the blood of African lion flows in our veins? It's high time we knew that our background is not a problem but our inability to leap to the unknown where there will be light at the end of the tunnel. The agony of poverty and bad governance have wounded our conscience making us leap in fear that we will never make it. If you are there and have witnessed what we see through African experience, then you should know that you are not alone. We need to console ourselves and leap with our bleeding wounds to victory. No one will do it for us if we don't. With our feeble legs and staggering minds, let's leap with hope into the unknown. With hope of African rhythms, we can make it work if we come together with one mind. The voice of African mother is calling on us to sail to safety with pride. She is beckoning on us to come to the shore of victory through the channel of World Nomads Scholarships. We have all it takes to be the best we can. Let poverty do its worst. Let our politicians take what is meant for us all. We can never be intimidated or discouraged. The worst that can happen is to remain where we are. But as long as we have taken the step forward, success is awaiting us. We can do it. Yes, we can.
