The excitement of a 17year old girl could nt be curbed even by her parents, and this young girl happens to be me.The idea of going to my hometown for the first time was very exciting that I couldn't sleep a wink.As the journey is by road,I was fascinated with everything I was seeing, including the cars moving first at the expressways, the way the hawkers advertise their wares, the breeze which was entering the car through the open windows, everything. My parents were amused with the way I was behaving and at a point in time I thought I would be scolded but I guess I was nt the only one excited. It was a 6hrs journey and not to my delight, the journey ended too soon.Immediately we got to my hometown,my Father said to me"do you want to go touring now or later",Of course I said touring now. I went with my parents to different places within d village, like the palace of the King,The market square,Rivers and many places. It was then I noticed the rich cultural heritage of my village, The way they are all relating to each other, The traditional food,Their mode of dressing and so much more. I really enjoyed my stay in my hometown and am looking forward to travelling back there.
