Group of 21 sets out on a pilgrimage, a pilgrimage to abode of lord shiva, a pigrimage unlike ever before. With spark in each eyes, every soul began their journey little they know that only two of them could make it top and only one out of two would be selected whose journey would end along with his dad's life. The journey to an imaginary temple at height of 16,686ft was filled with hardships whose difficulty level increased with each step. Each step would bring a bew face of weathwr, a new slope of terrain and a new conspiracy for us to make us give up kn reaching top. These conspiracies would either make us tired,or ill or both. Struggling with lack of climbing gears, added with madness of going through alternate route with more steepness and reflection through snow, somehow I was able to make it upto top. On reaching top , the view was such as if you are in heaven, clouds beneath you, snow clad peals surrounds you, and blue sky bows down at your feet. It was what you call pure bliss for a trekker. But little I knew it was momentary as it was shattered by some random traveller who told me that somehow my dad was not feeling well and I'm expected at base ASAP. Like a mad monkey,I hurried down and finished twocday descend in only one day to findout that dad had already left for his final journey to heaven. In just split second, the height of happiness brought by feeling of summiting the top was replaced by me being dragged into endless dark pit of sorrow.
