I have loved travel from times i still was wearing a diapers. I can remember numerous flights to Bulgaria every year smell of fresh watermelon at local market and then sweet taste on beach when my father pass me big slice of this sweet goodness eating and overlooking the black sea. I never forget that feeling. My parents loved sea and beaches. Than this travel bug did bite me too at a very young age. Our summers weekends, were spent travelling in our RV for small short trips. We did a lot of local trips here in SLOVAKIA place of beautiful HIGHT TATRA MOUNTAIN but also went on some long haul camping journeys. We went to 2nd highest tip of HIGH TATRA its LOMNICKY STIT 2634m above sea level where u can touch the clouds and see all from birds view. I did this trip again with my kids Sophia and Karolina in 2016. They was so overwhelmed to see beauty of their father country of birth since i moved to Canada, Niagara region where all is flat as land in Hungary. We did some trips across USA to see some end of the road places and just to name a few KEY WEST, Boston, CAP MAY NJ. We love seeing new places, parks, states and learning about the history and local culture. Social Studies was always my favourite subject in school. Trips to Cuba, Bahama where u can jump in crystal clear ocean and step on white sand beaches talk and have drink with local friends and neighbours. Was I in love with Bahamas ? Oh yes! But more so, I was in love with the entire experience of travelling. I could not get enough. I wanted to see as much as I could, learn as much as My brain could socked in, make the most of every minute. Travelling by cab and by bus, I would look around and see people sleeping, eating, drinking morning cup a tea and think, What is wrong with you people! You are missing out! I even enjoyed simple landscapes as they were fleeting past my window. Sometimes u dont appreciate whats around you where u were born. When they say Bahama its poor state to live. Why? You wake up u next to ocean, you going sleep hearing ocean waves on beach, Eating local fruits freshly picked, not GREEN and then it sits in freezer before it gets on our table in Canada where u work and work so u can earn just to get 1 week of vacation in Bahamas or anywhere in south warm place surrounded by palm trees and this is the life? I say No Everybody should be able to travel 3-4 times a year 1 week is not enough, it is sad but its our reality.
