I didn't travel abroad, but I was in different cities of my country. Therefore, I will tell you about my country Kazakhstan and its culture. In my country, you can visit the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan. Previously, this city was called Astana until it was renamed on March 20, 2019. Now it is a city of the future, a city of dreams and hopes. Every day it develops and thrives more and more. Many sports and cultural events take place here. In Nur Sultan, the most modern buildings are being built, which amaze everyone with their architecture. Over the years of Kazakhstan's independence, skyscrapers of the most amazing shapes, modern parks and squares, stunningly beautiful fountains and monuments have appeared in it. The symbol of the city is the Baiterek monument, the tree of life of the people, rooted in the ground, and the crown rests on the sky. Monument in the capital, the most important and recognizable landmark of the city. Its height reaches 105 meters. The ball located at the top has a diameter of 22 meters. In the center there is a wooden globe with autographs of representatives of 17 religions of the World, symbolizing the unity of all religions. The lower level goes four and a half meters underground, where there are cafes, aquariums and a mini-gallery "Baiterek". From there, you can take the Elevator to the highest level-the ball, inside which there is a bar and a panoramic hall. Many people visit it and will conduct a sightseeing tour for them in Kazakh, Russian or another language. You can also visit the "Palace of peace and harmony" - a pyramid-shaped building created in Nur Sultan specifically for the "Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions". Its area is 0.000028 square kilometers. The pyramid is the center of religious studies and tolerance. It accommodates an Opera hall with 1,302 seats. The interior of the hall is in maroon and gold tones, with a sun window at the top. The stage with an orchestra pit for 80 people and a depth of 2.8 meters is designed for productions of various levels. On the top floor there is a hall "Cradle" with a glass dome, where 130 doves are depicted, symbolizing various peoples of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The emerald quarter skyscraper is a complex of three high-rise towers of different heights built in Nur Sultan. Tower A is the tallest tower in the complex, with a height of 201 meters and 53 floors. It has 18 high-speed elevators. Tower B - the average tower of the complex, height 181.97 meters, it has 40 floors. Tower C is the lowest of the three towers in the complex, with 37 floors. A feature of the buildings is the asymmetry. Issyk lake is a lake in the Issyk gorge of the TRANS-ili Alatau. Its area is 0.22 square meters. It comes from the Kazakh word Esik — "door, narrow gorge, gorge". The modification was influenced by the name of one of the largest lakes in Central Asia. Located 40 kilometers East of Almaty. There are a lot of sights in Kazakhstan that you can tell about. I believe that any tourist who comes to this country will want to learn exactly about the sights. He wants to visit everything because he is interested in these places and their history. Therefore, I described to exactly the places that I myself visited in the first place. Kazakhs love to sing and dance. Most often when we are going, that somebody or playing on kobyz, Zhetygen – Kazakh folk instruments. Or dombra – stringed instrument that resembles a Ukrainian kobza or Western mandolin. One separate musical story that musicians perform for the public is called kui. Our national cuisine is another amazing aspect of people's life. Like most peoples that were historically nomadic pastoralists, this cuisine is based on meat dishes. Kazakh beshbarmak, for example – a favorite of guests of the Kazakhs treat. The most useful dish of the Kazakhs, common to many peoples, is sorpa, meat mutton broth. This dish is invaluable for restoring strength after diseases. It is my favorite and most useful. I want to tell you about the traditions and customs of the Kazakhs. The traditional Kazakh house is decorated with bright homespun carpets and bedspreads. This is the house my grandmother and my grandfather had. My grandmother knows how to make colorful carpets and incredible pillows with ornaments of different colors. This folk Kazakh craft was taught to her by her grandmother and she wanted to teach it to me but did not have time. And my grandfather loved our traditions and always honored them. In many families, traditions are carefully passed down from generation to generation. According to custom, they sleep in a Kazakh dwelling on a low bench, generously covered with carpets and bedspreads. Previously, Kazakh houses were "Yurts" - a portable dwelling with felt covering for Turkic and Mongolian nomads. The Yurt fully meets the needs of the nomad due to its convenience and practicality. It is quickly assembled and easily disassembled by the forces of one family within one hour. It is easily transported on camels, horses, or by car, and its felt coating prevents rain, wind, and cold. Kazakhs eat and drink traditional tea with cream – the most delicious in the world, as I believe-usually at a low table covered with a tablecloth in flowers. It is called dastarkhan. According to the ritual of tea drinking, Kazakhs are similar to the Japanese and English: the first also drink tea at low tables on the floor, and the second adore cream in hot tea. But in Kazakhstan there are different Nations that observe our traditions and honor their traditions without forgetting them. For many people who will come to Kazakhstan , it will be a leap into the unknown. So I want to travel in order to learn about the culture of other peoples in the same way. This will be my steps into the unknown.
