Making a local connection Brazil

My favorite city is Piripiri, in Piauí, and I have so many beautiful stories to tell about it. In 2019, I went visiting after five years, and I was so amazed, because even though some things were different, some were exactly the same, like the petrichor, the fresh air and all the animals on the streets. It is impressive how much our perspective can change, living for five years in a big city, where everything happens so fast, and everyone seems to be in a hurry made me see the city I was visiting in a new way. I started exploring all, everything that was a bit different from São Paulo, so I played with farm animals and got myself dirty, I swam in the lake almost naked, I rode a bike in high speed and enjoyed the air messing my hair up, and my favorite experience was dancing in the rain like a child. Our perspectives may change, but we can always enjoy the simple things of life, and that trip taught me to always seek new ways of having fun, and made me realize my true place is where my heart is fulfilled with joy and certainty.
