Mountains that would have been cut with a knife in the landscape, encrusted with divine kasbah, remains of a time not so gone, endless palm groves, silver mines and space, as far as the eye can see. I believe this is what also attracts me in the desert ; this space, synonymous with freedom. Silence is strong (and I learn that the nearest big city, Ouarzazate, located 40 km away, means "without noise" in Arabic) and no one can do anything about it. Berber villages, from which the ribambelles of children as responsive and smiling of life, are steps to the strong aridity. They create a duality man / nature, or rather domination of nature by man / domination of man by nature. And now, what makes me travel is to realize that I am far away. Far away from my daily reality.
