Well my name is Brittany I’m a mom of two beautiful girls and I’m taken by an amazing man. I’m a full time mom, girlfriend, and I love my family. When I was younger I bounced from home to home due to my mother’s addictions. I learned to just write about my issues. So here’s one I wrote: Sometimes in life you face struggles that you think you won’t over come but in the end you do and then you can look back and say by the grace of god I did it. When will my day come when I can say I made it? There some days you wake up and have to force a smile upon your face bc the kids are watching. Some days you feel like a Failure bc sometimes you can’t get things you need for the kids and you gotta borrow from someone or ask for a little help. Sometimes you feel like your kids won’t understand that all you do is try but then you think everything I do is for them. Yes, Sometimes asking for help hurts your pride. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do to get by right? There’s days where you wanna give up bc you feel like nothings good enough just look above gods always home. Yeah I say this as I’m going through some struggles but one day Ill look back and say you may be struggling now but prepare yourself for what’s to come. Some days I wake up and see these smiles on everyone faces. I know lately it’s just forced smiles and you barley hanging on to your hope but just gotta keep the faith. Just look above those days will soon be over those days will soon be over and we can finally say we made it. this one is about my struggles. I face daily but I gave many more if you tend to like this. I love to write poetry but my main thing is having a connection with my audience and turning My poetry into an actual book. Sounds crazy I know right? But anything is possible when you have faith and believe!
