When I was the age of fourteen ,my family and I took a trip to Boston Massachusetts. One of the biggest states I ever visited. I remember the morning of. Our flight departed around 9:30 so we headed to the airport a little early . When we got to the gate the lines were so long I feel like we waited for over forty five minutes when we finally got to the front of the line the lady told us that our flight was delayed until 10:30 so we got food and waited another 30 minutes went by and she told us they had delayed again and a couple more times after that, we though we would never get there . Finally the plane had arrived and they did some work on it and loaded us up . When we arrived to Boston and got off the plane it felt a little weird being so far from home I felt like I was sick . We took an Uber to the hotel and we kind of just relaxed and watched movies for the rest of the day the next day I decided to do a little window shopping so I got ready for the day and went out. The first place I stopped was a seafood place not far from the hotel room. After I ate I called and Uber to take me to Walmart to get a few things when I got out of the car their was people standing around taking photos but I didn’t really pay it any mind after I finished my shopping I went back outside to wait for my ride and their the people was still taking pictures I asked the photographer what was this for because the girls were dressed so nice and their makeup was beautiful he told me that they were taking these pictures for the modeling company he worked for. I asked him if by any chance they were looking for any more models not expecting him to say anything like he did . He gave me his company card and a little more Information and told me to give them a call after I finished up a little more shopping I went home and called the company they wanted me to come in for an interview so I did they took some pictures measured me and had me try on a few outfits and they told me they like my style and wanted me to be in the next photo shoot. I came into this city scared and feeling home sick but I met new people that made me feel at home and gave me good opportunities.
