Making a local connection El Salvador

Shares

Well, I was in the line of El San Salvador emigration bourder. In front of me there were a couple from Panama, and Next to me a local guy from a small town called San Miguel. I asked them why the line was so slow, then the Salvadorian told me that is was because of the time, It was 20:09 so there were few people waiting. Somehow we started to talk about Salvador, the beaches, people and the culture. There is not a better face than a guy who feels proud when talking about his country, describing the people, the food and how happy they feel about its anchestors. Lucky me, he told me that he could got me a ride to the closest town because there were no buses available at that time and close to the border was not a hotel place. We stopped to get some beers, he bought 4, I was thirsty and I like drinking a local beer once I get to a new country. He drove 2 hours, he was telling me his life story and I was happy to hear that he had married twice and has 5 kids. He in 45 years los and his life is 20 years younger, he found her in a small coffe shop and they fell un love a year later. Now, they have 3 kids, and a small house. She stays at home while he is like a doctor, he goes yo see his patients the whole day, giving them medicine and some advices. Now that I am sitting in their living room I realized that sharing is the best thing you could do in your life, I would like to write down all those stories about how people do in life, what have they been trought and what they wish in the future. For some reasons the conversación took place til very late at night. Next Ray I saw they were building a house in from of the one we slept in. I went there and saw how, Melvin with hard work was trying to build the house of his dreams. I helped Him to make some changes over the desing, I told Him I was am architect and happily he explained his house art work. I have to say that at some point I was scared because Melvins house was in the country side, and before I knew de were Driving out of the road for a narrow way. I think he was feeling the same way, I was a complete stranger. Next day I keep up my way to Guatemala.
