You're standing on the Bosporus, You look at the world with a wise eye. I still remember those brown eyes...It was 6 years ago when I visited very crowded and incredible city Istanbul for the training purpose. The training lasted 3 weeks, so I had enough time to observe this big city. Almost every day I tried to open new and interesting places, even the small cafes where I could drink a Turkish dark coffee and very narrow streets were for me so charming and mysterious, because there were full of merging the European and Eastern mentality with a lot of unknown faces. I loved to go to the Taksim area where I fed the lovely pigeons, visited cafes and small stalls with various staffs or souvenirs and considering place as the heart of the city. On Saturday it was raining, but I decided to see the city suburb and took the bus. Looking through the wet window the cottage by cottage and hill by hill I did not notice, that on the other side of the bus the young man with brown eyes looked at me with curiosity. It was announced the place which I needed to go, so I went to the door and suddenly I saw those smart eyes and for 5 seconds I thought that I should talk with the stranger, but I needed to walk and I walked away. As if heaven had heard my voice, after bus leaving I saw the stranger who looked at me and laughed. He came up to me and asked if I needed a help. I said that I wanted to find any interesting places. He introduced himself and said that he could help me and showed the local places. I was wondered then appreciated him and added if he was not busy it would be great. So he has became my guide and we talked a lot and walked, sometimes we stopped to see the places or made some photos. Besides we did not notice that it was dark and I should return to my place. He was so kind and walked me to my street. He also took my local mobile number and asked to see me again and show more new places. I was so happy that I found a new friend. Moreover, my new friend was so polite and friendly. On Sunday he showed me the main strait of Istanbul, the Bosporus. It was so pleasant to went on the cute boat and see the continental boundary between Europe and Asia, the blue water and white birds on the sky made the magnificent atmosphere full of happiness. My new friend was attentive and hospitable, showing me different, fascinating places from large modern shopping centers till tiny streets. Believe me, in Istanbul there are a lot of exciting sites which they will not leave you indifferent. Furthermore, even the most avid gourmet can find delicious food beginning the Turkish Kofta, Kuzu Tandir, Borek and ending lovely Lokum. There are many type of various and very tasty meals. 3 weeks in this wonderful city passed as 3 days. I was used to Istanbul and wanted to stay there longer, but I had to return to my homeland, where my parents, friends and job were waiting for me. On the day of return my new friend picked me up to the airport and waited until I went to the gate. He hugged me and kissed me on the right cheek. I never forget his sad and beautiful brawn eyes. So this was our last meeting, but he always will stay in my happy memories.
