Travelling is something that can change one's perspective to see the world and make his observation power very strong. Few year back, I used to hated travel even to my nearby town. I had the thought process that why I can't rest in free time rather than travelling. But My this perspective changed very soon when My flatmates forced me to come along with them for a bike trip to Nainital. Nainital is situated in Northern part of India which is very beautiful and wonderful place to visit. When I landed in nainital along with my friends, I was flabbergasted to see the beauty of nature, the calmness, the chirping of birds, the wind was blowing and I could sense the smell of trees as well and everything was so beautiful. People living at there was not having much concern about living a lavished life, They do care about just their two times food only. Whoever I meet there, everyone was very caring and friendly. One of our hotel owner become very friendly with us and he guided us throughout the journey and what cautious we should have during the travel in this particular region. Making a local connection does not means to talk to the strangers only but it also gives us a insight of their culture, language, wearing, foods and how they think about the rest part of the world. What kind of life is here and how they sustain, what is their most needy things put here, these are the questions that interested me when I met to those local people. We were suggested by the people at there that we should have " Aloo paratha" (Kind of food) of here which was really delicious. I really enjoyed it and had three -four times until I was there. One of the best way to make local connection that I found was to volunteering. Where people in the big cities are just care about themselves unlike people at these remote areas are really simple and have helping nature. They just want you to talk to them politely and they feel it like that someone has awarded them and I have felt it. So, It was a life and thought changing trip for me and Now I frequently travel to the various part of country and someday, I would like to travel to abroad as we I have heard a saying that" Your money would return but this time won't, So travel as much as you can".
