The supreme suprise on my face at a glance of something that is claimed never to happen before men’s eyes unless you are really luck, during the Photography tour on a drive through the game park of kidepo National game park in Uganda, my eyes where tightly glued on the camera lens as my travel colleagues were busy looking out for other animals, my eyes were anxiously looking out for the king of the jungle walking through the dry thin dusty grass. For a couple of hours i never took so many shots only saving my camera battery for the king of the jungle called the Lion,the thirst was too much simply because it was a very dry season upcountry of the northern part of Uganda, all I kept doing was watching through the Lens and drinking water every second passing by. A journey of Giraffes crossing by from the other side of the view took my attention, beautifully they looked smart in a cue as if they were going to attend a conference wow!the attention there was all lenses were making noise one by one shooting this journey of giraffes, a thousand of them showing each other the beautiful shots that they had taken, so much joy and excitement sharing about the lighting and how excellent their rules of third was perfectly applied in their shots. Boom immediately the excitement was done there came a strange animal I have never heard of all my life and again everyone turned their long multi colored lenses to the other side to view the strange animal, I must say it wasn’t beautiful so it took less of my attention, simply because my hopes were all for the king of the jungle called a lion which the game ranger said comes out at a rarely for the tourist to view closely and being that it was a bright day like.all I did was ask God in my silence to only suprise me so that I don’t get off the drive without seeing a lion moving or looking out for food to feast on, little did I know that God above was listening to my humble prayer request that was silently said in my heart. Shortly after I was done with my simple prayer lol! God sends me an instinct that said look at your left hand side and there we go I saw two big animals resting not well thinking one was a lion and the other was a lioness excited I was I went mute because I didn’t want to hear other Lens make a lot of noise and the shouts of excitement seeing the king of jungle finally and scaring it away yet I had waited for hours all my time on this drive in the game park. To my happiness hahahahaha I saw the lion getting closer to the lioness as it was resting, they looked like the were going to have a fight little did I know that I was going to get suprised,and boom the lion jumped onto the lioness and started mating which took less than five minutes, the act of mating was getting done, after I took the shots of that act then I silently told my fellow tour mates on the drive to look further and see the two lions I had watched out for all the tine on the game drive, and they all yelled at me how I was so mean not to inform them about how I had seen lions mating in the game park, the thing our tour guide said doesn’t happen in game park for many years only if you are lucky by God to get a view of lions moving during brood day light to hunt for what to eat...and from time to time I keep telling people about my suprise view of lions mating for less than five minutes and always encouraging them that while you are on a game drive don’t focus your lenses and binoculars in one area, always be optimistic for the other side of the storyline in your life journey and yes suprised do happen and that God Answer prayers in silence all times.
