Hi my name is Samantha and today I’m going to talk to you about my first trip to Italy in 2015 for my birthday. Once I got there I was hit by the sun which I didn’t expect, I was expecting it to be cold! I went on the train to Genoa and looked out the window to see beautiful landscapes of monuments, mountains and seas. I stayed at one of my dads friends house which had a lovely balcony where I would lean against the walls and enjoy the beautiful view and hear the peaceful noises. I visited the aquarium which is known to be the biggest aquarium in the world, enjoying the marine swimming through the blue crystal water I would always stop and admire the marine dancing and enjoying their time wishing I was swimming with them. I ate the popular foods in Italy Pizza and Pasta which was scrumptious and made my mouth water! I also got the chance to sit outside and view the beautiful lake and admired how beautiful it was at night. I visited the water park and swam in the most beautiful blue water I also felt like I was the whales and fishes from the aquarium swimming around and everyone cheering for me Bravo! When I did a brilliant trick! A band performed Samba on the boardwalks and I danced pretending I was in the band hitting the drums and walking around the water park. I yet again enjoyed a nice view looking over the pier whilst eating my lunch I can remember eating bread, lovely ham and sweetcorn and a bit of eggs! When I think about it I just want to be sat on the deck eating the food again and enjoying the nice pier view and talking about life. I walked the streets of Genoa and was greeted by welcoming and heart warming people saying “Ciao!” And me greeting back and waving “Ciao!” And smelling the nice bakery food on the streets. I also went to a live concert to watch a live band performing some music to the locals and it was outstanding and I passed people playing the flute and the harmonica wishing I could play. On my last night I enjoyed my last view on the balcony listening to music, taking beautiful pictures, listening to the beautiful wind and enjoying the wonderful nightlife scenery!
