Mind shift

I didn't expect to find South Africa

Stepping out of my comfort zone, with no expectations, a nervous thought and an anxious feeling I took a leap of faith and began a journey I had no idea would lead me to mental freedom. "straatmate" my mother yelled as I walked out the door not knowing not realizing my weakness was slowly growing into a super power no one could ever take from me, looking at me she didn't know if I would ever return all she could do was hope and pray my journey lead to success. With no manual or guide I walked into ventures that would change my views and not knowing they would later bring light to a dark place, a place no one knew existed but myself, an island so cold yet with no shade, the sun beaming in all directions however no warmth, al most a decade goes by searching for my final destination when it was clear I have a couple more to go. Fortunately lightning struck, yes I said fortunately. I realized it doesn't matter where the body was the mind was a tool I left behind, I left unnoticed, my brain was present but my mind left behind a rainbow touched my soul and my mind shifted to a warm, colorful space where no one could ever come and claim it was their's.
