I didn't know how to get there but it sounded really an interesting place to visit because all my friends were talking about it and try truth was I hadn't really been there. I did a little research before visiting that place, and yes indeed it has lovely beaches and I love beaches. This place automatically became my wishlist places to visit . Well my friends and I decided to go for a team outing to make it a memorable trip. We ended up selecting kashid beach which is in Alibaug as it had beautiful clean and serene beaches as we planned a budget friendly picnic place to visit and the number of days we were going to spend. We packed our bags with all our essentials and left for taking the ferry from gateway of India (Mumbai) to mandva jetty ,from there we boarded a bus to Alibaug. We then rented a car as there are many public transports available nearby you can choose from a rented car, auto and so on and the prices were quite reasonable. We stayed in a guest house which was quite reasonable and they served their guests with homely cooked meal. The guest house we choose was a good one as it was near the beach, has a bus Depo nearby and local market. We really enjoyed our stay at kashid , we went to the beach watched the beautiful sunset, clicked pictures, ate roasted corn by the beach, as it was my first team outing after my school days and it was a memorable one and I cherished it. As the end of the day had come to say goodbye , I didn't feel like leaving that place and returning back to work but as I had to say goodbye we took lots of pictures and it was memorable. As we had to return back we took the local bus as our guest house was near the bus Depo so we didn't have to walk a lot. The bus dropped us directly to Mandva jetty , and from Mandva jetty we took the ferry to gateway(Mumbai). This was a trip never to forget.
