As a young girl growing,I thought after completing school one will just pick a job for his or herself. But I later realised that, life was not a bed of rose. I am the sixth born in a family of eight from a polygamous home. My mum was the second wife with four children. Our parent were peasant famers. As a result to become someone, you must fend for yourself or remain an illiterate for life. I was the first to attend universty through my hard work. I hard to do pitty businesses with my mum in order for me to go to school. After my primary education my father could not continue my school.my mum and I had to kick off from there. We had to sell around town in the morning and go to school in the evening. my first year in secondary School my father forced me into marriage at the age of 14-15.my mother could not say anything because it is in their costom not argue your husband decision.i had to abandoned school and start a new life of matrimony. I stayed there for two years and had a daughter. At 17 I started admiring my friends going to school so I left my husband house and return back to my Father's house with my daughter. The two families tried to send me back to my husband house to no avail. I decided to educate myself alone without any assistance from mum. Upon completion of my secondary and high school education I immediately gain admission into to the university of Buea, Studying curriculum studies and teaching, under the faculty of education. After three years I graduated with a GPA of 2.9. After my graduation I struggle again for two years before getting a job teach English language and literature in one of the best secondary school in my Town( Christ the King college tiko).. .
