Making a local connection ..! Travel . One world but many meanings . For some people travel is to escape their basic routine , for some travel is to seek adventurous, for others travel is relaxation. But travel for me is sense of awareness of myself, knowing myself . Diluting in the cultures of the different countries , knowing their history , art or music . Travel for me is wonderful journey which makes me complete . Roaming around on the street of a different cities is like living in different dimension of the world . When I started my first solo travel I knew that this what I want more than anything . A love story between me and the world . My first trip to Poland , without much of research I packed my bags , booked my tickets and landed in polish city of Warsaw . I booked the accommodation , it was small 2 storey building owned by an 2 polish brothers . I booked my taxi from airport reached the placed and to my surprise I booked the accommodation very far for the touristy Center of the city . I met the owner Mr Greg , how can I forget this gentle men . He helped me to travel the whole city with the help of local transportation and believe me without internet also I didn’t got lost anywhere . Next day morning his lovely wife prepared breakfast for me , when I sat on the table I saw their is no vegetarian options and again it was my mistake I didn’t inform anything to them prior to reservation or after check in . I was hesitate to tell them because I was the only guest and they made all that for me , Mr Greg noticed I didn’t eat anything other than bread and tea . He approached with his breakfast and sat with me and asked me if everything is ohk , I told him I am vegetarian and I don’t eat any type of meat . He was extremely apologetic for it . To my surprise when I went next day for breakfast everything prepared was completely vegetarian and whole family sat with me ate breakfast together . I was touched by their small gesture . I know I am a guest but I have stayed in big hotels like Hyatt and Marriott and they hardly change their menu for special mean requirements . After the breakfast, family invited me to a Their traditional meal dinner . Their daughters even showed me around and treated me like their own guest . My first solo experience and I have never imagined I will be blessed to meet such a beautiful family , they took care of me like their own daughter . This little things makes me believe that world is not as bad as we see it . And to experience it all we have to do is travel , to go and see by ourself . All experience will not be wonderful or give you high thrills but sometimes a small things like this touch your heart . And that’s what Make your journey beautiful. A big thank you to My polish family I will always and forever remember you .
