I have always heard my parents say ‘Una, you are never going to travel the world if you don’t work hard in school’, this is so typical of African parents. I guess what they said was not true. I have trekked the world, as long as cape to Cairo, as wide as Japan to Mexico. I have been a volunteer for many organizations, the United Nations, the Red Cross and most of the time traveling to war torn countries as a volunteer. Divagated zones of hurricanes and proven signs of Gods anger to humanity as famine, yes, I delivered medication, food and just to offer a simple hand. The world is our responsibility, and this is beyond color, background or locality, hence I travel a lot to save lives and a positive change maker. Recently I have realized that the world is flat, those theorists have never been dead-on. Numerous technological and political forces have converged, and that has produced a global, Web-enabled playing field that allows for multiple forms of collaboration without regard to geography or distance - or soon, even language. This is called Globalization. As you travel down the sub Saharan part of Africa, where I come from. You will witness cornered houses, floor packed sky rocketing structures. Truly, symmetry of ideas and unparalleled modernization has moved the world. Indeed, even in developed countries too, traditional herbs are used straight from Africa. We are all one through the world. Travel and become part of a global community. However, the more you travel, you will realize, there is little need to travel, for the journey is already in yourself. Moving and globetrotting is exposing yourself to yourself, but actually, it’s all in yourself, it’s in me I have found it, and I didn’t expect to find it.
