About 10 years ago, my family decided to travel to Bahia, in Brazil's notheastern, region known for beautiful caribbean-like beaches. Every year we travel to beach, so I was expecting this travel to be like the same. Initially, it was the same, but there was this day, when we went to a Tamar Project (Turtles and Sea Animals Protection Organization) base near to an aquatic partk, where we could touch animals and see them (most of them can't return to nature due to extremelly trauma they had). In the night, We were having dinner in a restaurant in Arraial D'Ajuda, when a bunch of baby sea turtles were coming out of the sand and heading into ocean, it was one of the cutest thing I ever saw, it was a rare leatherback sea turtle, they are almost extinct. In the last beach day, I was swimming in ocean when a humpback whale came into surface and jump near to a boat. It was risk, but it was worthy, after this I knew that we should protect that natural animal sanctuary. Nature knows what to do and what they do are the best things we have in this planet. Not only the animals, but their survival strategy to protect itself from the humans. This travel changed the way I saw life, I stopped seing my life as the only one I should protect and started to see all others life being important as mine.
