Phase 1: Understanding. “Today I got a plane ticket to Thessaloniki, Greece”. I can’t say that I am surprised or glad, I am just confused.” Phase 2: On the way. “Have you ever felt like you were in a “state of flight”? I did. And not just because I was on a plane to Greece, no. The flight of what cannot be realized, shown, or explained - soul. Of course, someone will think that "it's early, you haven't arrived yet", but I don't care, I'm already happy. Phase 3: Insight. “A hotel, a friend of every traveler. Everything starts and ends here. Many tourists do not even think about the role of the place where you live, in a foreign country where people come for something new, whether it's emotions or Souvenirs. This is where my journey began, my flight of fancy, to the winds of which I easily follow.” Phase 4: Action is my middle name. “During the day, it's hot beyond words. It even happens that thoughts get confused in the head because they are "boil" in the skull and you can't understand which of these thoughts are yours and which are not. But after I saw a corner without the sun where I could hide and gather my strength, I immediately ran to it and dreamed of not going out in the sun again. But, happiness is not eternal, and sooner or later you will have to get out of your comfort zone.” Phase 5: Take me back. “The first day in Thessaloniki is over. I experienced heat and cold, joy and sadness. I wrote my first impression of the city and my surroundings. And suddenly it became very sad. But not because I didn't like something, but because of homesickness. Imagine, the first day, and already I want to go home! Of course, this state does not last long, because sadness is a short-term state, which is great.” Phase 6: I wasn’t ready. “The first thoughts about warmth are a joy in the heart, the impossibility of sadness, the desire to write. This is what I experience every day when I travel. It helps me to create something new, something unimaginable. But even in the heat, there are disadvantages. I and a couple of my friends got sick. Don't worry, a little cold, nothing serious. But it's something I wasn't prepared for.” Phase 7. Natural delight. “It is impossible not to tell about the nature of Thessaloniki. More precisely, about its outskirts. Mount Olympus, lakes, blooming forests. Even from the bus window, it is shocking to the core. The photos that I managed to take during the trip will not convey the feelings that I experience every time I even hear the word "nature" out of the corner of my ear.” Phase 8: People. “When you talk to a stranger, it happens that you want to learn so much about him, tell so much about yourself, but you can't. At one point, you get stuck so that you lose the opportunity to say a word. It's because you're focused on something else. On something unimportant. My journey is the same. I had many conversations with Greeks, Americans, and Chinese. But often, even for a second thinking about, for example, a passing bus or a pleasant sunset, I could not continue the conversation as I did five seconds ago.” Phase 9: Serenity. “The journey is coming to an end. Gone are the days that gave me unforgettable emotions, smells, and opportunities. I'm at the hotel, thinking about what's going to happen next. The hotel is the starting point for my return home. I'm in a taxi, alone. At the airport, I am met by a majestic Boeing. And now, while on the plane, I think again about the state of flight, serenity, in which I was just a week ago.” Phase 10: Return. “I’m home. Can’t say that I am surprised or glad, I am just confused.”
