A leap into the unknown France

Coming from a third world country and from a family that was fixed on the ideology that education/school is the route to success, I surely took a leap in the opposite direction. Back at home in a simple country called South Africa 🇿🇦 where I decided to step out of my comfort zone and be the first in my family to step out of the four cornered box and travel the oceans, I Set off on a new adventurous path where I decided to leave it all behind and catch the first plane out to France. 🇫🇷 Upon my arrival in the South of France in a small lovely town called Antibes is where I started my journey, remembering that I had no family, friends...I was basically starting from scratch. When I got to my residence, it was only then it occurred to me that I’ve been stuck in the same chapter of “life” and this could be the opportunity to the start of a new chapter of my short lived life. Since I was a little boy growing up, I always knew that my ultimate life goal was to travel all one hundred and ninety five countries in the world, so I looked for the nearest train station and purchased myself a ticket and traveled to the docks of Antibes, Juan Le Pes, Cannes, Monaco all the way to the borders of Italy 🇮🇹 in a town called Ventimiglia. I found work in my second town in Juan Le Pes which was only a small step in the direction of achieving my goals. Some weeks into my journeys since I left home to travel the seven seas and five oceans I met many people from across the globe as each and everyone of them were on a similar path but a different journey. During my time abroad I had the privilege of making new friends, connections with fellow travelers which made my travels even sweeter as they showed me historical artifacts from a past decade and had the opportunity to see the Grand Prix in Monaco 🇲🇨 which I had never thought would be possible due to my lack of ability to travel due to shortage of resources and a large family which believe it or not is sustained my cash-mula. After some time I got a better work opportunity in Italy 🇮🇹 which is where the universe was leading me, as I am a believer in a saying that goes “if it’s meant for you the universe will provide it”. When I arrived I stayed in a town named Imperia which I loved because of its simplicity but yet so unique, then I hopped on the yacht I worked to and sailed to Sanremo, Savona, Genoa, Sestri Levante all the way to San Marino. By this time of my travels I was having the time of my life and seeing places I only dreamt of and seen on social media where only the rich would go, now I felt like the young boy I once was with only a short reach of my dreams and set out goals in this lifetime. I believe each and every human being on this earth was born with a purpose and it is our life’s task to figure out what that purpose is and fulfill it and only the will we know peace. I still continue to seek out my dreams and goals in life because they are what makes me who I am, without dreams I have no desires, no purpose...you see the thing about Dreams is that you’re taught that through hard work and dedication you can reach your dreams. Well I believe there are dreams money can buy which is why the less fortunate work so hard we can be noticed, to be considered, to be worth more than just a dream but a dream turned to reality. On my past journeys I have learnt so much but the my best advise to any fellow travelers, do not go where the path might lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Every morning you have two choices, continue to sleep with your dreams or wake up and chase your dreams.
