Hey Mon, Jamaica funk that's what it was. Me and my 20 year old granddaughter Tianna took a much needed vacation to Jamaica on September 29, 2019 I called Tianna on her cellphone to let her know that her grandmother was going to Ocho Rios, Jamaica 🇯🇲 to Embrace our Moment to Heal and to also celebrate my Son Darel her dad's birthday coming up on October 23rd since he is Resting In Heavenly Peace. Tianna said I can't wait until we leave, so I guess you figured it out it was just suppose to be me but instead it was the two of us and we arrived at Montego Bay in Jamaica safely on September 29, 2019. The bus ride to The Jewels Dunn's River Resort And Spa was amazing, this was my granddaughter first time in Jamaica the driver made a stop along the way and we both had Jamaican Beef Patties and Rum Punch she really enjoyed the Rum Punch. We finally made it to The Jewels Dunn's River Resort And Spa going up the long driveway leading to the front of the resort was breathtaking all the beautiful tropical trees it was so tranquil and I felt the calmness all around me, I was finally able to take a deep breath and embrace my moment to heal with my oldest granddaughter Tianna by my side because my youngest granddaughter Layla was unable to come because she was in school. And if my youngest granddaughter was not in school we would not have been able to embark on that beautiful journey and stay at The Jewels Dunn's River Resort and Spa because it is an adult resort and Layla is 10 years old. As me and my granddaughter Tianna walked through the lobby it was so amazing all the beautiful tropical flowers, the staff was phenomenal we were given these blue tropical delicious drink and escorted to our chairs as we waited for our turn to be checked-in we talked to the other guests and said how we felt so relaxed. The Jewels Dunn's River Resort And Spa has a lot of adult activities, the paint and sip and karaoke. The food is amazing I met this wonderful server her name is Marcia she was our server and also our concierge, Marcia booked all of our dinner reservations and she also let us know what outside activities we could go to. We made reservations for the party boat, you could go snorkeling if you signed up for snorkeling and then after that we were on our way to Dunn's River Falls which was spectacular. Dunn's River Falls is super spectacular this was my second time climbing Dunn's River Falls, and my granddaughter's first time in Jamaica and her first time climbing Dunn's River Falls she told me grandma and I will be back again to take my second climb because she said as you said grandma what a spectacular time we had climbing up the Falls with strangers but at the end we all became friends. Oh no I cannot forget about the spa treatment, Kamisha she gave me such a wonderful massage and it was a much needed massage and she gave my granddaughter Tianna an extra 30 seconds worth of whatever she needed because she had hurt her back in a car accident and I told Kamisha whatever my granddaughter wants the cost does not matter we are here to Embrace our Moment to Heal. Me and my granddaughter Tianna enjoyed our time together at this phenomenal; tranquil, tropical caribbean breathtaking The Jewels Dunn's River Resort And Spa. The staff and the guests are now our extended family, I am happy and thankful and so blessed that me and my granddaughter Tianna took this trip together to Ocho Rios Jamaica to Embrace our Moment to Heal.
