My name is deji Samuel and I will like to share some of my intriguing travelling experience have made in my country, one of which I would like to share is my journey to the north.i could still remember vividly on a sunny Sunday at which I was just posted to a state I actually didn't like in Nigeria which was in the north,am talking of kebbi state, although my fear about travelling to kebbbi state came due to what I have been hearing about the northerners insuurgents, but I still had a couple of friends and family who advised me to go peradventure I will see something I might later love, like the people, culture, agriculture and their foods. After these tonnes of encouragement received from my friends and family I finally deceided to go at which my senior brother helped me with my load to the park..,reaching the park I could already smell where I was going because of the kind of people I was already boarding a vehchle with,i mean this people where majorly the Hausa's speaking people at which I had difficulty in transacting with the driver untill one of the Hausa's speaking people helped me out witg the translation while trying to pay for my bus fare to kebbi state, the truth his this man didn't even looked educated and his kind of dressing made me to think he must have Been an illiterate but I was struck at the way he translated every words in english with a much Better intonation, already I didn't know I was already starting to know alot about this people so finally we were completed for the driver to begin his driving as in Nigeria where I come from it's the habits of the associations to collect money before their driver lives which am still curious to know what's its all about anyway at last we hit the road to kebbi, while moving I wasn't very comfortable because the country where am from there don't care about your comfort so long you have paid them their money they believe you are a Nigerian and Nigerians are survivals of the fittest I mean we could always manage our comfort and convienience so I managed a one and a half day journey in the bus it wasn't really funny but the characters of the people and scene's of every area, place, community, villages and state made me forget that I needed convienience, let me start by describing the kind of people I later noticed I met in the bus, though uncivilized but there were caring individuals always trying to know how I feel while their brother who's educated translate their good welfare concerning my convienience, these people though looking very poor but their outlook was not their netput because most of them were the one's doing the shopping I mean to every place we stopped to eat you could see them spending money and I was very surprised that somehow me that am putting on good clothes and looking very educated was not as rich as some of them....so I was really curious to know them more so the time after everyone had enter the bus to continue our journey after the shopping I came formally this time by trying to ask of their names it's was then I knew the individual who has been translating the Hausa to English name is Mohammhed, while having my conversation with mohammhed,i asked him so questions like the school he went to,how long has he been in Lagos working and what year did he leave kebbi to lagos, so he answered every of my question with a great and humble tone..,mohammhed told me he went to federal university of technology Minna in Niger state where he read business administrative and after his school his uncle who was the owner of a big livestock company asked him to come to Lagos and join him in managing the business in 11 april 2015 where since then he had been able to get his home and made good fiscal revenue,he continued to tell me about how humble his people are and how it has been imbibed in their culture, how a place called dakingari Siri there don't belief in showing their wealth..such a people.
