This trip to Lucknow was the most beautiful one in my life. Here's why? Firstly, it was my first ever travel in Flight. Secondly, travelling with my favourite, what else can I ask for?. I am referring to "The Sky",my love. Thirdly I traveled alone and I also didn't have any friends from that place. Although I was knew I was going to my Officer's place for a Personality Development course. So i met a bunch of friends who came to the course from the farthest reaches in India. So we were to stay in a place where our Officer himself accompanied us to the place where we had to stay. It was a privilege for us to stay in a Sub-inspector's house. The most fascinating about the stay was, the Sub-inspector I referred to was a Lady Rambo!. The kind of discipline at her place and the hospitality she rendered was heart-touching. Her humility was at its best. We spoke for a long time and she asked all of us to be motivated and never ever give up on our dreams to join the Indian Armed forces. Here's what is the most amazing thing about travelling to a different place: The day had arrived where I thought I would just wish everyone "Happy Holi" and go on with the course. But it never ended that way. A group of people came in and said "Happy Holi beta" it means "Happy Holi Child", it's never easy to find a stranger call you that way. He was 59 years old and I loved it when he said that. I said in reply "Happy Holi Uncle ji" (filled with love). So he asked us to come out and wish his family members who were engaged in playing Holi outside the house. The moment I stepped out,I saw a group of people aged from 5- 60 happily playing Holi. What a scene that was, that's when I felt how Holi was to be celebrated. The little girl came to me and applied the colour on my face then one by one all of them did. I loved playing Holi with the family that I didn't know. I knew them a few seconds ago and we became a family, had lunch together, went around all their family and friends house to celebrate Holi. Despite of the fact who you are, where you are from, what religion you belong to, nothing stopped them from applying the beautiful colours on us nor did we have a hesitation to get the colours on us. We loved the entire process. The radiance on their face which they spread it on our faces will always be cherished in my heart and it will remain as an Unforgettable Holi with the new faces, which became a family now. I miss you guys this Holi. Hope to meet another set of beautiful people this upcoming years while I travel. Never stop traveling, because the more you travel the more you know about others and most importantly you learn about yourself. Btw I am Christian and I was a South Indian who yrsvellyto North India for the first time all alone. Humanity still remains the highest and brotherhood equallyto is the key for existence. Thanks for reading my rants. To be continued..
