Traveling and discovering the world is something she realized she wanted to do. She felt stuck in England, with a degree to finish and the grey sky always on top of her head, and her dreams. Almost 4 years passed, they were very intense and educative but was finally there, and on warm Tuesday in July, she jumped on that plane, ready to explore, experience and live an unknown world. She was not alone though, her crazy boyfriend was with her, ready to share an incredible adventure. Bangkok, Khao Yai, their first time in the jungle, Chiang Mai and finally Pai, the island in the mainland, the place to fall in love and end up staying longer than planned. New experiences, new friends, new feelings, a new way of living, and finally living. That, was the start of an unexpected and incredible journey they started. Time to move, time for Laos. 2 days on the Mekong felt like a life on its own. Slowly moving through the river almost touching the brown water while the gigantic trees made their eyes lose the sense of orientation. In the middle of such immensity, there was Si Phan Don, a magic, unique place where time simply stops and for the first time in their lives, the days followed the rhythm of Nature. A place in which even the heavy rain was appreciated, enjoying every drop, feeling its smell and its sound. A place where the heart was left un custody to its people, waiting for their return. Nonetheless was Cambodia. Getting out of the touristic center and cycling around its less known temples while little monks jump from trees to the lake, and laugh, is like living the history in a new era. The alarm rung at 4am, their tuk-tuk driver friend was already waiting for them, he had changed route. Once again, they were going to the unknown. But was is better than living it? Living the sunrise at Srah Srang is like opening your eyes experiencing beauty for the first time. A feeling that cannot be compared, like contributing to child healthcare in a country where children are uncountable. How to spend a Saturday evening in Siem Riep? Well, they went to circus, a special one! A circus with music, with acting, with dancing, a circus full of love. The love of teenagers that were given a future, and they were contributing to that future. 5 days have past, days filled with history, donations, culture, and tears. Yes, because after such an intense experience, they did not want to leave. "Same same but different"! With this in mind, they head on to Vietnam, to discover the magic of the sea. Oh, Vietnam! They arrived on the Indepence Day, so imagine how cheerful and colourful the whole country was. Receiving the help from strangers, traveling on a scooter in 3 with 2 backpacks, hitchhiking and jumping into the tropical sea, dancing with the fish though the underwater mountains, improvising football technics on the beach with smiley children and feeling the power of a country who will never give up on its soul. A mind changing adventure which lead them to become nomads, to love the world, its landscape, its flavours, its sound, its soul, its people. No longer able to stop and follow the conventional route of live, they have created their own. From Cuba, to Italy to Asia, the next life changing deed is the Latin side of the Americas. From top to bottom, from east to west and all there is in between, they are now ready to Live it. Are you ready to follow them?
