Scooter ride

A leap into the unknown India

It was late evening at my bed, my phone rings my boyfriend on the other side, Let’s go for a vacation on your birthday It couldn't be better spending my first ever birthday with him after Three years of relationship. We flew to Goa, a place is known for its romance and beaches we both had so many dreams emotions and of course fun in our plans, it was kind of perfect vacation. We landed in goa everything was old the places, the faces,the food, but the love was new the place with new ambiance of being with the guy I love the most. It made me realize that fairy tales are true We reached our hotel where he hired a scooter because I always wanted to do a scooter ride with him. Next morning we drove to north Goa, the very first scooter ride, we didn't stop anywhere except our lunch we were just roaming on the streets, the wind touching my face the signals, and the break my face touching his face and my hands holding his waist. After well spent day we drove back to hotel in south Goa. He has already decided that we'll stay in south goa and will enjoy our daytime in north goa of course so that I can enjoy the long ride. Next morning he brought me the local breakfast which i love after breakfast he asked me to hire a cab but I wasn't convinced as I wanted to enjoy the scooter ride, so we started scooter and the local shopping made me happier as he brought me a cute little sling bag once we reached baga beach we started playing in sand like kids does it was nostalgic. When the sun comes down its new day dawning so mid night 12am it was my birthday we danced like crazy while dancing I could see the love and madness in his eyes he was enjoying like a 12-year kid or like it was his birthday it was overwhelming seeing him but there's always a dark night. Next day I woke up with a sweet sound Happy Birthday 'Chotu' baby it was the best feeling, made me fall in love with him again. We started with a movie date I could feel an uneasiness but i avoided that alarm. Evening I was getting ready I could feel the uneasiness again that back pain was worse over the time i told my boyfriend, he called a doctor who asked me to get an x-ray done and meanwhile he had given me pain-killer which made me fall asleep. Next day I woke up and the pain was even worse I did x-ray, in the evening, when the result came, it was spina bifida which is a birth default where our bones are not closed properly, doctor asked me to bed rest and I could see that my boyfriend was worried about me at the same time upset because after Three years when finally he could celebrate my birthday with me, we couldn't but I didn't want to let him down when doctor left the room I asked him can we spend one more day without even thinking that I have this problem, he refused he wanted to fly to back to Mumbai, but I wanted to stay to back, and leave everything behind and wanted to make a happy end to this vacation so after so much of pleading he finally agreed to stay back, and we both decided to make a happy end to this trip so at night i myself planned our day without him knowing at the same restaurant where we were suppose to have our candle light dinner along with our long romantic ride but obviously in cab but I missed that wind to touch my face. Overall it was worth counting moments because pain did stop me but love has more power than any pain now I'm on medication but still whenever i have that intense pain that reminds if the amazing moment i spent with him and he loved me unconditionally
