Everyone thought I was crazy when I said I wanna go for solo travelling in India, a beautiful young fragile girl going alone into the unknown...while I was waiting to meet new souls and seeing new places..my closed ones were holding there breath for my safe return even before I left. From taking lifts from starnge biker in middle of mountain road...to finding friend in paid guide. From burning bonfires with bunkbed sharers and hostel mates to dancing crazily to new never discovered songs...asking localites about their education system and earning means this trip has made me fearless..made me strong enough to take leap into unknown. I touched snow for first time. Did paragliding into snowcapped mountains for first time. And lived my life for first time. I live in financial capital of my country and run 24*7 to earn my living. When I planned a solo trip all I wanted to do was sit at a place and breath. So I planned a trip into the mountains. I have never been in temperature below 20 degrees. But here I was in Manali at 2degree celcious. Walking around finding my hostel I booked..I saw what I never saw before or only saw in movies...snow. I am a water baby, and snow is what facinated me all my life. I moment I touched snow is what I will never forget in life.a small flake of snow can race my heart beats and stop my breath. That's unbelievable. Since I went in off season I was the only person staying in hostel in Manali my first destination. For a moment I thought if I die of cold nobody will know till morning and I panicked..but it was just for a moment...till I bought a heater and this was all because I have never been in temperature below 20 degrees. Next I went to kasol valley and stayed at hostel located between valley with no cellular coverage. Made new friends took lift from strangers ,tried new cuisines..and dint share experiences on Instagram. New right? Well definitely for me. Kasol is beautiful town in Himachal Pradesh in India. Overnight journey from country capital Delhi takes you to this beautiful valley called Parvati in middle of snow capped mountains. I have never taken efforts to make friends as people always took efforts to be friends with me..but this trip was different and I came out of my cocoon to be what I am not. I became more social in person and not on internet. Kasol tougt me to be open and accepting to whatever comes in life. Next I went to dharamshala which is again overnight journey from kasol or so I was told. I was supposed to reach there at 9 in morning but reached at 2am instead. In 2 degrees this was my first time under the sky. I could have frozen to death have a taxi not helped me to get to hotel. The thing is this mountain towns stop operations at 6 in evening and people sleep at 9pm. You won't see any living being around after 9 pm here. And I was there at 2am. But I lived all these to tell you more about my story when I meet.
