It was a dark friday and there was Janeth thinking about what to do with her life, suddenly she took a map and said, I will go where my finger decides, She closed the eyes and her finger pointed Medellin, Colombia. Without money She decided to take a bagpack with simple stuffs a brushteeth, one pair of jeans , a tshirt, sunglasses and 70.000 Colombian pesos for the transport. She went to terminal de transporte that was the place where She could take the transport, there She found something incredible, there was a special discount for being friday. The price was only 35.000 Colombian pesos , She paid the ticket and got off in the bus. The trip was a light heavy, 10 hours inside a bus, but during this time She had the opportunity to see beautiful landscapes and think about her life, She thought about what She had left behind with this trip, about the Friends ,the family but She thought that was an opportunity to grow and being independent. After 10 hours She finally arrived to Medellín, the place was nice, everybody wanted to help her, something that It didn't happen in Bogotá, the city where She was from. She only had 35.000 for food and to be one night in a hostal. A taxi driver recomiendes her a place to stay and She paid and stayed one night in that place. When She woke up the next day, She didn't know what to do, without money, food but She remembered that She spoke English and french and Medellín is known for being visitef for a lot foreigh people She offered her services, She went to a travel agency, and She said that She could participated in a tour free helping to translate to foreign people and if She had a good performace they could hire her. She went to a tour, She went to Guatapé and the trip was nice because She had the opportunity to see a big natural stone there, in order to arrive to the top of the stone She has to climb 770 steps, It looked complicated for her, She was nervous but after some seconds She took the risk to climb the mountain, She started to climb up and when She was going up She started to talk with the foreign people, they found the conversation interesting and found, for that reason they recommended her and She had the work and She started to live in Medellín. After 4 years She met a handsome guy there and She got married , this is how she found something unexpected in Medellín.
