I didn't expect to find India

As I went about making plans to add another country to my experience, I was keen to choose one that gives me the best exposure in terms of culture, nature, unique-fun activities. One always sets a bunch of expectations but that’s the fun about travels, they could prove to be totally unexplainable yet with the most unexpected stories. And so happened on my last beach holiday, when I chose to let go of my hectic city life and spend some time with the sea. But to my dismay, the shores I walked upon took me to places I never knew existed...A place where I felt complete, one with the universe and content with my surroundings. And that’s the most beautiful part about making pals with nature, it listens to you and give you the opportunity to let out everything that’s residing in your system, without any judgements & setting you free. I do expect a lot from my holidays but what I didn’t expect to find was ‘me’. I found me, soulfully cherished. Enjoying every sound around me, the sun-rays reflecting through the water, the breeze losing it’s way out of my hair. The smell of hope coming out of the sand and going deep within. Making me so mindful and aware of myself and my wholeness. I can’t say it enough what this journey has got to my life as I got to find me.
