I got to travel to Malta, to experience the life of the Maltese people. Not knowing much information, only some key facts like: it's usually sunny and warm there (caught my interest immediately) and that they also spoke a bit of English, so I Was ready for this adventure. Arriving in Malta it was beautiful the view from the plane, so tropical and as I love the sun i was excited. The mission was to live there for 3 months, I had already got a job beforehand so I knew the hotel was nearby. When I arrived at the airport, got taxi and straight to where I'm staying. The staff of the hotel were very welcoming, friendly and felt the good vibes, already liked this new beginning. The next I went to explore, it was like 40 degrees during the month of June and I was loving it, it was a sunday and as I made a new friend who also was staying there for work related, we decided to go together to explore. Walking for about 2 hours, most things/places are closed on Sunday we seen and we needed water, none of us had data on our phones, so we couldn't see our location to get back to the hotel, now that's where a mini adventure happened, not a single person outside as the weather was too warm. We felt like we are walking in circles the buildings looked kinda similar to us, but yet unique in their way. We seen an old lady near her home andal asked her about location to our hotel, we gave the name, so she just pointed down down and then did right turn with her hands, so we said thanks and went down down and as there wasn't any right or left turns we kept going until we seen a right side appear, so we took that right and didn't lead us to anything but homes and nowhere else to turn haha, so we had to go back going up to where we came from and startef again walking randomly, like 30min later we heard voices, and music, followed the noise and lead us to the beach where there was actually a shop open and thankfully some people who knew the hotel showed us a short cut and told us we been walking in circles haha.. Its things like that makes it interesting to talk about. Overall Malta gave me a beautiful experience, met some amazing people from around the world and felt like I wanted to continue staying there, but I knew that I would be grateful for the memories, the culture, their food and getting to explore places like Gozo, it inspired me to get creative and I even filmed a music video there called Good Vibes Only and it captured some of the fun parts of this experience /story of mine that I'm now sharing with you.
